February 2018 Cams Wharf, Lake Macquarie
Featuring kayaking on beautiful Lake Macquaire, plenty of route choice on the mountain bike legs and a exciting run leg over rock platforms and around (or through) tidal rock pools the Cams Wharf event of the series is one not to miss. Located a couple of hours drive North of Sydney this event is easily accessible as a day trip for Sydneysiders while being a real local event for Newcastle and Central Coast residents.
March 2018 Wild Horse Mountain, Sunshine Coast, QLD
The Wild Horse Mountain leg of the series is only one hosted in Queensland, just North of Brisbane on the stunning Sunshine Coast. The racing will be on from the get go at this one with the flat terrain meaning the competition will be fierce at the front. The secret for this event? Make sure you are ‘on’ with your navigation, plenty of gains to be made with canny route selection.
May 2018 Royal National Park, Sydney, NSW
Racing at the historical Royal National Park will be fast and furious. The most popular leg of the series, it is easy to see why when you consider the location close to the heart of Sydney and the flowing single track mountain biking. Held over the same course on both the Saturday and Sunday there is no excuse for missing this one.
September 2018 Glenbrook, Lower Blue Mountains, NSW
The Blue Mountains leg of the series is the final event for 2018 and the most adventurous. Often featuring a rock scramble/wade/trek through the imposing Glenbrook Gorge to add to the excitement. With a purpose built single track section for the mountain bike legs and paddling on the Nepean River this is one event that will not disappoint.
